Hi Alesia! The most important thing, if you’re just starting out in the credit card game, is understanding how important it is to pay off your balances every month. Don’t open ANY credit cards, if you struggle to meet the spend requirements! That being said, if you’ve got significantly more dough than I did as a 19-year-old, I tend to think the best card on the market right now is the Chase Sapphire Reserve: https://unintendeddomesticity.wordpress.com/2016/08/23/introducing-the-chase-sapphire-reserve-card/

Just make sure you’re being careful with credit as you start out in this hobby!

I’m fairly new to the whole credit card game (I’m 19) what card do you recommend? Right now I have a chase debit card and a Capitol One credit card.
