Another simple one is that a number of grocery chains will occasionally mail you packs of coupons, if you register your shoppers’ card with them. Even if you don’t normally spend the time to cut physical coupons, the personalized packs tend to have a lot more “hits” than the Sunday flyers — the stores personalize them based on your store card history, so I’ve often gotten packs where 3/4ths of the coupons were for things that I was in fact planning to buy in the next couple of weeks!
